  • Prior to establishing AT Law Firm, Sergei Alimirzoev worked as an associate at the international law firm Steptoe & Johnson Co. in Washington, D.C. and Moscow, as well as at the leading English law firm Allen & Overy. Sergei represented major Western corporations in Russia and the CIS, supported M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and financing, privatisation of state-owned enterprises and auctions, and conducted due diligence on major real estate transactions.
  • As a tax consultant at Ernst & Young, Sergei developed strategies for the entry of major international companies into the Russian market, advised Russian and foreign investors on tax issues related to financing and privatisation, export and import transactions.
  • Sergei Alimirzoev headed the legal department of one of the leading Russian investment banks ATON, a major participant of the Russian securities market. Sergei advised Western and Russian securities market participants on legal and tax issues of mergers and acquisitions, circulation of shares, bonds, promissory notes, derivative securities, debt restructuring, etc.
