The duty-free import threshold for goods in the EAEU may be reduced to 100 euros in 2026 and to 50 euros in 2027
The Eurasian Economic Commission has published a draft decision on the phased reduction of the duty-free import threshold for goods in the EAEU.
Starting from April 1, 2024, the following threshold are applicable: 200 euros for postal shipments, and 500 euros for land transportation.
The draft decision proposes to maintain the threshold at the level of 200 euros in 2025, then to reduce it to 100 euros in 2026 and to 50 euros in 2027. If the duty-free threshold is exceeded upon the import of goods, a duty is charged at a rate of 15% on the goods’ value.
