Ministry of Justice to Establish Unified Register of Enforcement Documents

The Russian Ministry of Justice has developed a series of draft laws to create the Unified State Register of Enforcement Documents (EGRID) — a digital system for the enforcement of court decisions and acts of other authorities.

The EGRID will consolidate all enforcement documents into a single electronic database, eliminating paper workflows. This will enhance the transparency of the submission and execution process. Creditors and debtors will be able to track enforcement progress and send documents directly to banks, employers, or bailiffs via their personal accounts on the Gosuslugi portal, while still retaining the option of submitting documents in person.

The system is expected to speed up enforcement procedures, reduce the workload on bailiffs, and minimize the need for personal interactions.
