Garantex Intends to Compensate Clients for Frozen Assets
The cryptocurrency exchange Garantex plans to compensate clients for frozen assets amounting to 2.5 billion RUB, which were blocked due to the freezing of Tether wallets and actions taken by law enforcement agencies in the EU and the US.
The exchange has confirmed its commitments and intends to implement a model similar to the financial institution rehabilitation process.
Individual meetings to discuss compensation terms will be held at the Garantex office in Moscow, while a secure technical solution will be developed for users from other regions.
