A special procedure for export of Russian currency in cash from Russia to the EAEU countries has been introduced
Under the Presidential Decree, from April 1, a ban on such export is imposed:
- A) for individuals – if the amount of export exceeds the equivalent of 100 000 USD;
- B) for legal entities and sole proprietors – regardless of the amount.
Exception:
1) if the export is carried out through the special checkpoints at the Russian international airports, and
2) if there are certified bank statements confirming the withdrawal of the currency from bank accounts of such persons or other documents.
