Legislative initiatives
Founded in 1999, AT Law Firm stood at the origins of the development of the Russian legal system. The firm's partners for many years have been actively involved in expert work to improve Russian law as part of working groups and government commissions. Many of the proposals on the amendments to corporate legislation made by the firm's lawyers have been reflected in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The amendments to provisions on inheritance estates and inheritance contracts, in the development of which our partners have been involved, have contributed to the considerable development of inheritance law practice.
Expert activity
The partners of AT Law Firm are actively engaged in expert activity on the analysis and improvement of Russian legislation. Sergey Alimirzoev, senior partner of the firm, as a member of the working group of the International Center for Financial Services, participated in the preparation of the concept of changes to the Civil Legislation of the Russian Federation. Partner Ilya Aleshchev as a member of the working group of the Ministry of Justice participated in the development of the law "On inheritance contracts and joint bequests by spouses". (Article 256, Part 1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). Partner Yulia Zamyatina participated in the development of FIDIC® comments "Conditions of contract for the supply of equipment, design and construction. For electromechanical, construction and engineering works performed under the contractor's project" in order to adapt the project conditions to the Russian law enforcement practice (based on NAICS).
