On November 25, 2015 the RF Supreme Court issued a judicial review on cases of vindication of residential premises by state authorities from individuals, extending rights of acquirers. As follows from the Review, an acquirer shall be recognized as bona fide if he/she has familiarized themselves with the extract from the EGRP and inspected the premises. The burden of proof of acquirers’ bad faith rests with the state authority. The limitation period shall be calculated from the date when the claimant has learned or should have learned on violation of his rights, and shall be equal to 3 years.
