The RF Ministry of Economic Development proposes to introduce amendments into the RF Criminal Code expanding the list of economic crimes, which provide the accused with a possibility to be released from criminal liability on the following conditions: (i) the crime has been committed for the first time; (ii) the damages have been compensated; and (iii) a fine amounting to tenfold damages has been paid to the state. These rules will be applied to crimes of minor or medium gravity where damages may be evaluated. It is planned that the Bill would be introduced to the RF Government in summer of 2015.
