The RF legislation on advocates’ activity has been amended. State bodies and other organizations will be obliged to provide information requested by attorneys. Undue default in providing such information will lead to administrative liability. In addition, the amendments will toughen the requirements for advocates’ activity: only those who have five-year experience of advocate practice will be entitled to practice privately. Moreover, an advocate firm may be founded by at least two attorneys with five-year advocate experience.
