The RF citizens carrying substantial amounts of cash cross border will need to support their origin. The RF Federal Customs Service proposes to add into Draft Customs Code of the Eurasian economic union a requirement of documentary confirmation of origin of cash carried by a person crossing the border of the Russian Federation. The minimum amount requiring such confirmation is not yet known, however, according to media, it may be equal to 10 thousand dollars.
