The Bank of Russia has again prolonged restrictions on the transfer of funds abroad

Until March 31, 2024, it is prohibited:
- for Russian citizens and non-resident individuals from friendly states – to transfer an amount equivalent to more than USD 1 million within a month.
- for non-resident individuals from unfriendly states not employed in Russia – to transfer funds abroad (exception: non-resident individuals employed in Russia are allowed to transfer funds in the amount of their salary).
- for legal entities from unfriendly states – to transfer funds abroad if they are not controlled by Russian legal entities or individuals.
