Russian Tax Authorities clarified the rules of crediting rental payments paid by foreign individuals and companies

The Russian Tax Authorities in their official Letter dd. 07.03.2024 № ШЮ-4-17/2605@ clarified that Russian individuals, even registered with the Russian Tax Authorities as sole entrepreneurs, have a right to credit rental payments made by foreign individuals and entities under lease agreements of the immovable property located in Russia or abroad to their foreign bank accounts.
