Ruling’s “On conciliation of parties in ithe arbitration process” was adopted on session of the Plenum of the Supreme Arbitrazh Court of Russian Federation on 18.07.2014. The Rulings extended the principle of freedom of contract in respect of settlement agreements, but it legitimized the case law by which the settlement agreement means a complete termination of the dispute. Thus, the Plenum raised the position according to which the claim of the new requirements arising from the legal relations, which was previously reviewed by the court is not permitted.
