Rules for Movement Euro cash out of the EU

Russian citizens are prohibited to move cash euros and other currency of the EU member states out of the EU. This rule is applicable as of 16.03.2022.
Upon departure from the EU to the Russian Federation EU citizens are allowed to move out cash currency in the amount not exceeding sum for the travel expenses (you must have documents confirming the planned expenses).
It is recommended to take other cash currencies, for example USD, when leaving the EU territory for the Russian Federation.
