RF State Duma has prepared a bill restricting judicial immunity of foreign states in the RF. The bill authorizes the RF courts to enjoin foreign state in proceedings and declares the principle of reciprocity, according to which immunity of a foreign state in the RF may be restricted to the same extent that the RF immunity is restricted in the appropriate foreign state. Judicial immunity of a foreign state shall not apply in labor, property and some other disputes. The law is planned to come into force on 01.01.2016.
