Restrictions on foreign currency cash withdrawal prolonged until 09.03.2024

For bank accounts or bank deposits opened before 09.03.2022 the withdrawal limits will remain, namely only money which were on the account as of 00:00 Moscow time on 09.03.2022 may be withdrawn subject to additional limit of USD 10 000 or an equivalent in another currency, and subject to this limit was not previously reached.
The rest can still be withdrawn in Rubles.
Money deposited after 9 September 2022 can only be withdrawn in Rubles at the bank’s exchange rate on the date of withdrawal.
