Maxim V. Trofimov is a Senior Partner, Attorney, and a member of the Moscow Bar Association.

For more than 15 years, Mr. Trofimov has specialized in conducting trials in courts of general jurisdiction, arbitration courts and international commercial arbitration in cases before the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.

He evaluates risks and formulates strategies related to corporate and tax law for a number of business clients.

Mr. Trofimov has represented interests of Russian and foreign clients in disputes with government agencies, as well as in other matters of economic activities. He has represented clients in a variety of matters, including corporate disputes, privatization, disputes related to valuable securities, tax disputes, real estate transactions, credit institutions, industrial property rights and trademarks.

He also has represented the interests of various government bodies in arbitration and in the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.

Mr. Trofimov has represented clients in insolvency proceedings, participated in negotiations with creditors and debtors, assisted in forming a committee of creditors, and conducted bankruptcy proceedings.

Mr. Trofimov advises clients in the areas of banking, international trade, real estate, the organization of wholesale and retail trade, copyright law and industrial property.

Mr. Trofimov graduated with honors from Moscow State University of M.V. Lomonosov, Department of Law.
