LinkedIn may be blocked in Russia

Under the decision of Tagansky court of Moscow LinkedIn may be blocked in Russia for failure to comply with Russian personal data protection regulations. Russian law requires users’ consent for collection of personal data of Russian citizens and such data shall be kept only on servers located in Russia. The decision has not yet came into force, as LinkedIn filed an appeal with the City Court of Moscow. The appeal court hearing is scheduled on November 10, 2016.
