Germany’s Beneficial Ownership Register Set for Public Access

As per the bill, which must be agreed to all changes and passed by both houses of Parliament, Germany would establish an electronic registry of all business owners and businessmen, known as the beneficial ownership register. Business community has no single opinion: either public access to the registry will allow for more business transparency and limit the flow of laundered money to terrorist or disclose confidential information.
