Foreign banks and brokers will be allowed to participate in currency trading in Russia

The Government approved the list of foreign states, whose credit institutions and brokers will be allowed to trade on the Russian currency exchange market and the derivatives market. According to the Government’s comments, this list includes countries ‘friendly or neutral’ to the Russian Federation.
In 2022 the Russian Government approved the list of foreign states and territories committing unfriendly actions against Russia, Russian legal entities and individuals.
