Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) has drafted amendments to the “4th package” of amendments to the Law on protection of competition that passed the first reading. Amendments represent detailed description of unfair competition types, such as misrepresentation of quality or quantity of goods, incorrect comparison of goods, etc. It is proposed to increase fines: minimal fine for some types of unfair competition will constitute 500 000 RUR (7 634 EUR). New instrument of legal proceedings in antimonopoly sphere that will allow to challenge decisions of FAS territorial bodies will be established.
