Austria suspended its DTT with Russia

On 6 December 2023, the Austrian Official Gazette published a notice suspending DTT articles previously suspended by Russia. The Austrian suspension is effective starting from December 6th, 2023.
The income received after 06.12.2023 is subject to Austrian tax in accordance with local law.
Therefore, if a Russian tax resident receives the interest income from an Austrian bank after 06.12.2023 such income is subject to taxation both in Austria and in Russia.
