Alimirzoev & Trofimov Acts For a Major Financial Market Player In a $5 m Dispute

Lawyers of Alimirzoev & Trofimov have defended the interests of a major financial market participant, which has been managing mutual funds for more than 15 years, in a dispute for more than $5 million.
In December 2014, the client issued a loan of $2 million to a Russian company. The company did not return the money by the due date, and the lender went to court to recover the debt, interest on the loan, and penalties.
The Moscow Arbitration Court satisfied the client’s claims in full, collecting from the defendant the principal debt of $1.84 million, interest of $1.1 million and a penalty of $3.44 million.
