A Bill to extend rule allowing to hold shareholders meetings remotely to 2024

A Bill NO 475970-8 is tabled to the State Duma aimed to extend until December 31, 2024 a temporary rule allowing to hold a general meeting of shareholders in a JSC in the form of absentee (remote) voting, if at such a meeting the following issues are on agenda:
- Board of directors and audit committee are elected;
- an audit organization or an individual auditor is appointed;
- annual report, annual accounting (financial) statements are approved.
Currently this temporary rule is effective until the end of 2023.
